Announcement of the founding and mission of the Multireligious Institute on Mercy at the World Congress on Mercy in Vilnius. WACOM takes place every three years under the patronage of the Vatican. It involves dioceses and ecclesial communities from all five continents. In attendance were 5,000 people, along with numerous television stations from around the world. Fr. Patrice Chocholski’s announcement was followed by remarks from Rabbi Haïm Ben Dao, the Muslim president of COREIS, Abu Bakr Moretta, Rusli Tan, Vice President of the Indonesian Buddhist Movement WALUBI, and Ridwane Darolles, head of youth affairs at the IoM.
